Gravity Hill – About two miles south of Shullsburg on Judgement Street the road travels down a steep hill and up a steeper hill. If you stop your car about 3/4 of the way down the first hill (street marked with a “GH” on the pavement) and put your car in neutral you will begin traveling uphill backwards.
Badger Mine and Museum – Located in the center of SW Wisconsin’s lead mining region in Shullsburg you can experience firsthand the daily routine of an 1850’s lead miner. The Badger Mine is the only primitive, hand dug, 19th century lead mine open for public viewing in the U.S..
Music in the Park – Free live music performed Thursday nights in July at Badger Park in Shullsburg.

The Grotto – The word Grotto means an artificial cavern or cave. It is a creation in stone, mortar and bright colored objects-collected materials from all over the world. These include colored glass, gems, antique heirlooms of pottery or porcelain, stalagmites and stalactites, sea shells, starfish, petrified sea urchins and fossils, and a variety of corals, amber glass, agate, quartz, ores, such as iron, copper and lead, fool’s gold, rock crystals, onyx, amethyst and coal, petrified wood and moss.

House on the Rock – An experience that will leave you in awe. Alex Jordan broke ground in 1945 began the construction of The House on the Rock. Beginning as a retreat with a spectacular view perched on Deer Shelter Rock it grew into collections that are a must see. There are 3 sections in the self-guided tour where you will experience world’s largest carousel, music machines, a 200-foot sea creature and much more. A must see!
