Ballycreen Room

1 QUEEN BED . 1 BATH – SUITE with daybed

Ballycreen – Ballycreen Upper is in the Electoral Division of Ballinacor, in Civil Parish of Ballinacor, in the Barony of Ballinacor South, in the County of Wicklow. Balleycreen was my ancestral home. Great Grandpa John Patrick Byrne sailed to America in 1848 with his parents. He took homestead in Hazel Green, WI as well as in Benton, WI.

Located on the second floor of the Guest House, it faces west/northwest. This room is located at the back of the house. This area of the home, back in the day, would have been used as the servant quarters. Follow the back-spiral stair case up and you will reach your oasis. Tastefully decorated with creams, tans and teals with white linens. Furnished with queen bed, a chaise lounge for enjoyment of a good book or an afternoon nap. The abundant windows provide plenty of natural light and allow for a nice cool cross breeze.

This room includes a sitting room that contains a day bed that can easily be transformed to two twins or a king bed. You will enjoy a private bath, with claw foot tub and shower, hair dryer and plush white towels. It has access to washer and dryer. Private control of air and heat. A beautiful cast iron cloths rack provides spacing to hang your cloths. You will enjoy original pieces of art. This room provides plenty of family space.
